The first is the internal problem of the electromagnetic flowmeter, pay attention to the memory to withstand the negative pressure problem. When measuring the medium is corrosive, we need to use PTFE memory material. However, the anticorrosive electromagnetic flowmeter using tetrafluoroethylene material cannot withstand negative pressure.
 
There are two ways to solve the problem:
 
First, the original vent valve is changed to a check valve (stop valve). When a small negative pressure occurs in the pipeline, the check valve automatically opens to draw in air from the atmosphere, thus ensuring safety.
 
Second, the use of skeleton-type memory, the disadvantage is to increase investment costs.
 
The above is the precautions for the anti-corrosion electromagnetic flowmeter in the measurement of chilled water. Another flow meter suitable for chilled water metering is a time difference type ultrasonic flow meter, and some problems should be noted in use. For example, since the sensor and the cable plug may be enclosed in the insulation layer, in order to prevent the condensation from causing damage to the sensor, the degree of protection of the cable plug should be IP68 submersible protection.
