The intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter is a kind of precision instrument. It is a flow meter that relies on electromagnetic induction. It mainly supplies a stable excitation current to the magnetic coil in the electromagnetic flow sensor through a converter. The preamplifier amplifies the electromotive force induced by the sensor. Converted to a standard current or frequency signal for easy flow display, control and regulation. With the advent of summer, the lightning climate is also becoming more and more frequent. As a high-precision electronic digital instrument, how can the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter prevent lightning damage caused by equipment damage or even cause heavy losses? , Lightning gas invades the instrument through the power supply. The lightning generated by the powerful magnetic field, the instrument electronic components generate magnetic induction, instantaneously generate strong voltage and current, breakdown of the insulation burned out the instrument. The lightning pulse wave invades the flow meter through the wireless network to burn out the communication chip or meter. In the summer when there are many thunderstorms, lightning strikes have become the biggest safety hazard of using electromagnetic flowmeters. The following is the measures that the Chengdu Yonghao Instrument introduces to you in the lightning storm during the summer thunderstorm. It is not only necessary to pay attention to these matters during the thunderstorm, but also pay attention to the installation and use during the initial installation. These points are good, so that we can prevent it from happening. First of all, when installing the electromagnetic flowmeter, we must ensure that the sensor of the electromagnetic flowmeter is grounded at both ends. The grounding loop must be reliably grounded. The electromagnetic flowmeter has good grounding protection to accurately measure, perhaps without such interference. In the environment, the grounding does not affect the accurate measurement of the flowmeter, but once the environment changes, the flowmeter cannot work accurately and stably. Therefore, it is best to do the sensor grounding protection during installation to create a good job for the electromagnetic flowmeter. surroundings. Then in order to ensure the normal use of the electromagnetic flowmeter in thunderstorms to prevent lightning strikes, we also need to do the following for the electromagnetic flowmeter: 1. The power supply is 220v one-way AC, and an air switch is installed in the instrument box. The arrester and the air switch are connected in parallel, and the wire is connected from the air switch to a three-terminal socket; 2. The signal cable length between the converter and the sensor should not exceed 50m, and the signal cable must be sheathed with a galvanized pipe. If the galvanized pipe is in the air, the galvanized pipe should be reliably grounded with a grounding resistance of less than 10; 3. Multi-strand copper insulated conductors with a grounding wire length of the arrester not exceeding 1 m and a cross-sectional area greater than 6 mm. If there is no ground net nearby, a simple net should be made near the arrester. The method is as follows: three flat steels or angle steels with a length of 1.5 m are used to drive into the ground in a regular triangle arrangement, and the flat steel bars are used to weld the three flat steels. In one of the corners, the bolts are welded, and then the grounding wire of the arrester is connected to the 220 VAC lightning grounding plane to install the panel. Finally, regular maintenance inspections are needed to eliminate hidden dangers and avoid unnecessary losses due to lack of maintenance.
