How to measure gas-liquid two-phase flow introduction
How to measure gas-liquid two-phase flow gas-liquid two-phase flow and its flow structure The phenomenon that liquid and its vapor or different components of gas and liquid flow together is called gas-liquid two-phase flow. The former is called a one-component gas-liquid two-phase flow, and the latter is called a multi-component gas-liquid two-phase flow. Gas-liquid two-phase flow is common in power, chemical, petroleum, metallurgical and other industrial equipment. There is a difference in flow velocity between the gas phase and the liquid phase during flow. This relative velocity should be considered when measuring the flow rate, such as electromagnetic flowmeter, vortex street. Flow meter, orifice flow meter, etc. 1 A gas-liquid two-phase flow structure in a vertical riser. Experimental studies have shown that the gas-liquid two-phase flow in the vertical riser has the following five basic structures: fine bubble flow (a) Structure, elastic flow structure, massive flow structure, annular flow structure and annular flow structure with a vertical flow-up gas-liquid two-phase flow. (b) Fibrous flow structure These five flow structures have the following characteristics. a massive flow structure; (d) an annular flow structure with fibers; a. Fine bubble flow structure. Fine bubble flow is one of the most common flow structures seen in (e) annular flow structures and is characterized by fine bubbles with a crepe in the liquid phase. Bubbles having a diameter of less than 1 mm are spherical, and bubbles having a diameter larger than this value have various shapes. b. Slug flow structure. The elastic flow structure consists of a series of air bombs. The end of the gas bomb is hemispherical, and the tail is flat. Small bubbles are trapped between the two gas bombs. The liquid film between the gas bomb and the pipe wall flows downward. of. c. Block flow structure. The block flow structure is formed by the collapse of the gas bomb, and at this time, the gas block flows in a chaotic state in the liquid flow. d. An annular flow structure with fibers. In the annular flow structure with fibers, the liquid film on the wall of the tube is thick and contains small bubbles, and the droplets taken away from the liquid film by the central part of the gas core form an irregular long fiber shape in the gas core. Types often occur at high flow rates. e. Annular flow structure. In the annular flow structure, there is a liquid film on the wall of the pipe, the central part of the pipe is a gas core, and the flow structure of the gas-liquid two-phase flow is vertically lowered.
