Pneumatic butterfly valves are widely used, the variety and quantity of use are constantly expanding, and the high temperature and pressure, large diameter, high sealing performance, long service life, excellent performance, regulating valve direction function, and its reliability and other performance indicators have reached a high level. And partially replaced the gate valve, globe valve, throttle valve. With the advancement of the electric ball valve in the foreseeable short-term, especially in the oil and gas pipeline and the nuclear industry will have a wider application.  Compared to other types of valves, small electric butterfly valves have the following advantages:
1, the fluid resistance is small, the electric ball valve is the smallest of all types of fluid resistance, even if the ball valve, the fluid resistance is very small.
2, the switch is fast and convenient, as long as the valve stem rotates 90 degrees, the ball valve is fully open or completely closed, which is convenient for quick opening and closing.
3, the sealing performance is good. The butterfly valve seat seal is generally made of an elastic material such as PTFE, which is easy to ensure the seal, and the sealing force of the ball valve increases as the medium pressure increases.
4, the stem seal is reliable. The opening and closing of the ball valve is only a rotary motion, so the valve stem packing seal is not easily broken, and the stem sealing force increases as the medium pressure increases.
5, the pneumatic butterfly valve switch only rotates 90 degrees, it is easy to realize automatic control and remote control. The butterfly valve can be equipped with pneumatic device, electric device, hydraulic device, gas-liquid linkage or electro-hydraulic linkage device.
Ball valve installation instructions:
1. Before and after the pipeline is ready. The front and rear pipes should be coaxial and the two flange sealing surfaces should be parallel. The pipe should be able to withstand the weight of the ball valve, otherwise the pipe must be equipped with appropriate support.
2. The pipe before and after the valve is blown clean to remove impurities such as oil and welding slag from the pipe.
3. Check the mark of the butterfly valve to make sure the ball is intact. Open the valve completely a few times and confirm that it is working properly.
4. Remove the flange connection protection at both ends of the valve.
5. Check that the check valve hole is cleaned and there may be some dirt, then clean the valve hole. Between the seat and the ball, even small particles of foreign matter may damage the sealing surface of the valve seat.
6, the valve is installed on the pipeline. Any end of the valve can be mounted on the upstream end. The valve can be mounted anywhere on the pipe with the handle. However, ball valves with gearboxes or pneumatic actuators should be mounted vertically, in horizontal ducts, and in the duct.
7. The piping design between the valve flange and the pipe flange requires the installation of a gasket.
8, flange bolts need to be symmetrical, continuous, evenly tightened.
9, connect pneumatic actuators or electric actuators.
10, start operating the drive, close the ball a few times, should be flexible, no need to confirm that it is working.
11. Check the flange sealing performance between the pipe and the ball valve according to the pipe design requirements.
