Valve function:
Valve refers to the important control device in the fluid pipeline system. Its function is to switch on and off the medium; prevent the medium from flowing backwards; adjust the medium pressure and flow rate; separate, mix or distribute the medium; prevent the medium pressure from exceeding the specified value, and ensure the pipeline or The equipment operates safely.
Classification of valves:
1. Classification by purpose and role:
Truncation class: mainly used to cut off or turn on the media. (gate valve, globe valve, ball valve, butterfly valve, plug valve, diaphragm valve).
Checkout class: Used to prevent media from flowing backwards. (check valves of various structures)
Conditioning: Adjust the pressure and flow of the medium. (pressure reducing valve, pressure regulating valve, throttle valve)
Safety class: used to discharge excess medium when the medium pressure exceeds the specified value to ensure the safety of the piping system and equipment.
Assignment class: Change the flow direction of the media. (3-way plug valve, distribution valve, etc.)
Special applications: traps, vent valves, drain valves, etc.
Two: Classified by pressure:
Vacuum valve: a valve whose working pressure is lower than the standard atmospheric pressure;
Low pressure valve: a valve with a nominal pressure of 0.1.6 MPa;
Medium pressure valve: a valve with a nominal pressure of 2.5-6.4 MPa;
High pressure valve: a valve with a nominal pressure of 10-80 MPa;
Ultra high pressure valve: a valve with a nominal pressure greater than 100 MPa.
Three: According to the working temperature of the medium:
High temperature valve: valve with working temperature ≥450 °C;
Medium temperature valve: 120 ° C ≤ working temperature ≤ 450 ° C;
Normal temperature valve: -40 °C ≤ working temperature ≤ 120 ° C;
Cryogenic valve: -100 ° C ≤ working temperature ≤ 40 ° C;
Ultra-low temperature valve: working temperature <-100 °C.
Four: According to the way of pipe connection:
Flange connection: the valve body has a flange, and the valve is flanged to the pipe;
Threaded connection: a valve with a threaded body and a threaded connection to the pipe;
