1 Measurement of the working distance: When the front side of the action piece is close to the sensing surface of the proximity switch, the distance of the proximity switch action is the maximum operating distance of the proximity switch. This data should be within the parameter range of the product.
2 Measurement of release distance: When the front of the action piece leaves the sensing surface of the proximity switch, the maximum distance that the action piece leaves the sensing surface is the release distance when the switch changes from action to release. Again this data should be within the parameters of the product.
3 Measurement of the hysteresis H: the absolute value of the difference between the maximum operating distance and the releasing distance. Data should be within the parameters of the product
4 Action frequency measurement: Use the speed control motor to drive the bakelite disc. Remember to fix some steel sheets on the disc, then adjust the distance between the action pieces and the switch sensing surface, try to be about 80% of the switch action distance. When you are ready, start turning the disc to bring the action piece closer to the proximity switch. At this time, start the motor and slowly increase the speed.
