Common equipment for bearing ring forging

Common forging equipment for bearing rings are air hammer, crank press, boring machine, forging furnace and so on.
Air hammer
The air hammer consists of the working part (piston, hammer and anvil), the power transmission part (motor, pulley, crankshaft, etc.), the operating part and the fuselage (compression cylinder, working cylinder, column and base). The rotary motion of the shaft causes the air in the compression cylinder to be compressed or expanded. The air passes through the air passage communicating between the working cylinder and the compression cylinder and the valve controlling the air passage, and enters the upper or lower chamber of the working cylinder, thereby controlling the movement of the hammer rod. .
Air hammer is used to produce bearing ring forgings, mainly for small batch and larger ferrule forgings. There are free forging and hammer forging, which has large suction and exhaust noise during operation.
2. Crank press
The crank press mainly consists of a working mechanism (composed of crank, connecting rod, and slider), a transmission system (motor, pulley, drive shaft, etc.) and a fuselage. The motor rotates the crankshaft through the pulley, and the crankshaft turns through the crank. The rod drives the slider to move up and down to work.
The crank press is suitable for stamping of sheet metal parts, die forging of ferrule forgings (especially production line).
3. Expanding machine
The boring machine has a working part (pressing wheel, cylinder, rolling roller), a control part (signal roller, air valve, control system, etc.) and a fuselage. During operation, the ring blank is placed on the rolling roller, and the rotating rolling wheel is pressed against the ring blank under the pressure of the cylinder, and starts to deform after contacting the ring blank, and the ring blank and the rolling roller are rotated by the friction force. The ring blank is compressed and the wall thickness is reduced, and the diameter is enlarged. When the outer diameter of the ring blank is increased and the signal roller is in contact with the pre-adjusted position, the signal roller sends a signal, the cylinder switches, the rolling wheel returns upward, and the discharge mechanism The forging is pushed out to complete the boring process of the ferrule.
4. Forging furnace
Heating has a great influence on the intrinsic quality, material utilization rate, production efficiency, energy consumption, working conditions, labor intensity and environmental protection of forgings. The quality of the heating depends on the structure of the heating equipment and the type of fuel. At present, domestic heating furnaces can be divided into coal furnaces, oil furnaces, gas furnaces and electric furnaces according to the type of fuel. Among them, forgings produced by coal furnaces account for half of the total output, and electric furnaces are less than 10%.
