Valve exhibition promotes the high-end introduction of the valve industry

Although the scale of China's valve industry has exceeded 200 billion yuan, it still needs to import high-end valves worth 10 billion yuan every year to promote the localization of high-end valves. Anshan, as the birthplace of the country's first regulating valve, is now moving towards the new goal of “China's high-end valve city” with its deep technical know-how and industrial advantages.
The reporter learned from the 2013 China (Anshan) high-end valve industry expo held recently that in accordance with the goal of high-end, complete, international and ubiquitous, the Anshan High-end Valve Industrial Park plans to achieve an annual income of 20 billion yuan in the next few years. With a scale of 1 billion US dollars and a final sales income of 100 billion yuan, it has become the largest high-end valve industry base in China, and promoted Anshan to become a "China high-end valve city." Song Yinli, secretary-general of the China Valve Association, said that in the context of China's high-end valves relying heavily on imports, the launch of the high-end valve industry park will undoubtedly provide tremendous power for the localization of high-end valves in China.
At the opening ceremony, Danfoss Group, Japan Tooling Group, and Bethel Valve Group signed a contract with the Anshan Economic Development Zone. The number of high-end valve projects that were admitted to the hospital reached 105, with a total investment of nearly RMB 14.5 billion. It is understood that the planned area of the high-end valve industrial park in Anshan is 15.61 square kilometers, which is divided into three areas: valve manufacturing area, industrial supporting area and public service area.
It is worth mentioning that the equipment remanufacturing academician workstation, the Anshan Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative Innovation Center and the Liaoning Provincial Valve Testing Center were also unveiled at the opening ceremony.
Among them, the academician workstation will make a difference in the research and development of high-end valve industry technology, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and improve the ability of independent innovation. Xu Binshi, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said that the research and development and promotion of equipment remanufacturing technology is an important measure for the development of strategic emerging industries. The concept of green “remanufacturing” was first proposed by Xu Binshi in the last century.
Anshan City Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative Innovation Center plans to effectively integrate high-end talents, advanced technology, process equipment, etc. for high-end valves and other industries through the effective integration of the Armored Forces Engineering College, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Dalian University of Technology and Liaoning University of Science and Technology. The urgent need for the field has finally become the industrialization base for enterprise technology innovation and university achievements.
According to reports, the Expo has gathered more than 500 well-known enterprises at home and abroad. The exhibits include more than a dozen series of valves for oil and gas, valves for chemical industry, valves for metallurgy, valves for environmental protection, and valves for nuclear power, thermal power and water and electricity. Taking this fair as an opportunity, in the future, Anshan will hold relevant exhibitions on a regular basis, build a cooperation and exchange platform, promote the integration and development of the domestic and international valve industry chain, and contribute to the localization of high-end valves.
