1. Effective sectional area
When the fluid flows through the pipe, the actual cross-sectional area of the fluid supply is smaller than the inner area of the pipe due to the damping effect of the pipe. The actual flow section area is called the effective section area.


2, CV value

Q = flow liters / minute.
P2 = outlet pressure (bar).
ΔP = allowable pressure drop.
A CV value of 1 indicates that the flow capacity is 1 gallon of water per minute at a pressure drop of 1 PSI.
