How to choose the pneumatic actuator correctly?
We want to choose the appropriate, cost-effective pneumatic actuator, first of all to determine the valve opening and closing the required torque, under normal conditions, the recommended installation coefficient of 15~20%. Water vapor or non lubricated liquid medium increased to 25% safety values, non lubricated slurry liquid medium increased to 40% safety value, non lubricated particle medium increased to 80% safety value.
Then, according to the pressure of the gas source used, the model of the double acting or single acting output torque table can be found and the accurate information of the pneumatic actuator can be obtained.
In the output torque table of the single acting actuator, the torque in the end column of the spring output torque is the torque to close the valve.
