How to choose the right adhesive in metal hose joints - focus on microfluidic control technology

Adhesives have special functions and are widely used in metal hose joints. There are more than 10,000 kinds of adhesives suitable for different purposes in the world. How to choose suitable adhesives in metal hose joints requires consideration of the following four factors.

1. Resistance to media performance
Air, water, oil, acid, etc. are collectively referred to as the quality. Most of Shanghai's adhesives have the best performance against airborne media, and the bonded parts have the highest bonding strength in the air. The adhesion in different nature gas or annotated medium is quite different, and even the quality of the joints in the working process is mainly air, water, oil and acid. When using adhesives, choose a glue that is resistant to the media used.

2. Bonding strength: gooseneck, metal hose, table lamp hose
The breaking force at room temperature and air medium per 1 cm 2 of the bonding surface is called bonding strength, expressed in MPa. The bond strength is divided into tensile strength, shear strength, torsional shear strength and peel strength. Private detectives refer to the breaking strength of the bonding members in different directions of force. Select the adhesive, and select the appropriate strength glue according to the position and force of the mechanical parts.

3. Temperature resistance
Refers to the temperature range that can be withstood by the fully cured rubber layer, such as a certain temperature resistance -60oC - 120oC, that is, the viscosity can be applied in the range of -60oC to 120oC, beyond which the adhesion is significantly reduced. The air-cooled engine in construction machinery can reach a temperature of 130oC. The hydraulic oil temperature can reach 120oC, and the Shanghai private detective must choose the adhesive glue within the temperature range that the adhesive can withstand.

4. Curing time
The curing time refers to the time required for the adhesive to be converted into a solid gum at the normal temperature. The curing time can be divided into initial solid (or fixed) time and full solid time. Initial solidification refers to the time required for the adhesive layer to withstand the adhesion of the adhesive without its own weight; full solidification refers to the time required for the adhesive layer to fully cure and achieve the highest adhesive strength and medium resistance. The adhesive can be divided into instant dry glue (or quick-drying glue) and slow-drying glue according to the initial solidification time. The initial solidification time of the instant adhesive is only a few seconds or tens of seconds. If the magnetic pump needs to shorten the curing time for the slow-drying glue, it can be heated by means of heat blowing and oven baking, but the heating temperature and time should be determined according to different rubber types. Choose instant dry or slow dry glue, the flapper valve depends on the different conditions of the bonding and work needs. In general, slow adhesives have better bond strength and dielectric resistance than instant glue.

The above points are the basic principle of selecting the adhesive in the metal hose joint. Only the correct choice of the adhesive can achieve the desired effect and restore the performance of the metal hose, thereby improving the utilization rate of the metal pipe joint and improving the economic benefit.
