Classification of pneumatic hose couplings - focus on microfluidic control technology

There are many types and specifications of pneumatic hose joints. The common structural classifications include quick-release, quick-change, flare, quick-twist, barb and pagoda.

The pipe joint forms are classified into straight joints, terminal joints, right angle joints, three-way joints, four-way joints, multi-way joints, reducers, internal and external thread joints, joints with one-way throttle valves, etc., which are used in various occasions. Pipe joints.

Pipe joint materials are generally classified into brass or engineering plastics. Some are plated with a nickel-chromium layer on the brass joint body to be polished to increase corrosion resistance and aesthetics. The pipe joint thread has metric fine teeth, cylindrical pipe threads and conical pipe threads. It is recommended to use a conical pipe thread joint from the sealing point, and the thread is coated with a sealing layer.

It is commonly used in the connection of nylon pipe and polyurethane pipe in pneumatic circuit. After inserting the pipe in use, it is self-biting and fixed by the elastic snap ring in the pipe joint and sealed by the sealing ring. When the tube is unloaded, the tube can be easily removed by simply pressing down the elastic snap ring. There are a wide variety of quick-injection fittings and a full range of sizes, making them the most widely used hose fittings. Quick-connect fittings are available in straight-through terminals, right-angle terminals, tees, cross-sections, Y-shaped, T-shaped terminals, through-plate joints, gas-disconnecting joints, etc., all of which have PTFE coating on the taper threads. This coating can replace the conventional sealing ring.

This is a pipe joint that requires no tools and can be quickly assembled and disassembled. It is especially suitable for pipelines that are in urgent need of frequent assembly and disassembly. The quick-change pipe joint has a unidirectional element inside, and the steel ball is positioned when the joints are connected to each other. The air passages on both sides are connected; the joint is removed, the air passage is disconnected, and the air source switch is no longer required.
Quick-change fittings have internal threaded external threads, metric threads, cylindrical pipe threads, tapered pipe threads, one end of the joint is threaded, one end is a pagoda joint or both ends are pagoda joints, or both ends are threaded and other forms.

The structure has a circular arc-shaped boss on the outer tapered surface of the joint body, and the nut is tightened when the hose is sleeved on the outer tapered surface of the joint body to seal. It is suitable for nylon pipe and plastic pipe connection.

For connecting hoses, this joint connection is very convenient, especially when assembling pneumatic control cabinets or mounting brackets, there are various structures such as right angle, T-shaped, Y-shaped, through-through and terminal thread.

It is suitable for the connection of rubber tube and plastic tube. When the working pressure is >0.4Mpa, the hose should be tightened with clamp or wire.
