Mass flow meter working principle and use process should be avoided
The mass flowmeter measures the fluid as it flows through the rotating tube and creates a force on the tube wall. It was discovered by Coriolis in 1832 when he was studying a hydro turbine and was called Coriolis force. The mass flowmeter is based on Coriolis force. There are two parallel T-shaped vibrating tubes inside the sensor. The middle part is equipped with drive coils and the two ends are equipped with vibrating coils. The excitation voltage provided by the transmitter is added to the drive. On the coil, the vibrating tube is oscillating for the reciprocating mass flow meter. The fluid medium in the industrial process flows through the vibrating tube of the sensor, and the Coriolis force effect is generated on the vibrating tube, so that the two vibrating tubes are torsionally vibrated and mounted on the vibrator. The two ends of the tube's pick-up coil will generate two signals of different phases, and the difference between these two signals is proportional to the fluid mass flow through the sensor.The computer calculates the mass flow through the vibrating tube. Different media flow through the sensor The main vibration frequency of the vibration tube is different, and the medium density is calculated accordingly.The platinum resistance installed on the vibration tube of the sensor can indirectly measure the temperature of the medium.
Therefore, we should avoid the following events during the measurement:
2. Avoid installing the sensor at the highest position of the pipe, because the air bubbles will gather and stagnate, causing measurement errors in the test system;
3, if you can not avoid too long downstream pipeline (generally not more than 3M), should install a more flow valve;
4. The distance to the transfer pump should be at least 4 times the length of the sensor itself (distance between the two flanges). If the pump causes excessive vibration, it must be isolated with a coiled tube or connecting tube.
5. Additional devices such as regulating valves and inspection observation windows should be installed at least 1X away from the sensor (L is the distance between the sensor mounting flanges)
6, the bracket can not be installed on the flange or housing, the distance from the flange is generally 20 ~ 200mm;
