Ensure a longer service life; Continuous service life is a parameter that micro solenoid valves should consider first in most applications, especially in certain applications that require a longer continuous service life. For example, in medical equipment and high-running instruments, the equipment requires continuous operation, requiring the device to have the lowest number of failures or even zero even if it is used for a long time. Frequent maintenance and replacement of valves are best avoided. The continuous high service life also means that the components have better reliability under complex and variable applications.
 
In fact, high-reliability service life guarantee is difficult to achieve. Experts with valve design have mentioned that the most troublesome service life is to move the sealed membrane, that is, the diaphragm design. Whenever the valve is working, the diaphragm will be pulled by the pull rod. After several millions of reciprocating movements, the push rod pulls the diaphragm will be worn. Most valves will have this kind of situation. Some manufacturers change the push rod or Membrane material design to solve.
 
Experienced application engineers consider reducing the diaphragm deformation when considering long service life. This ensures a smoother contact surface and less impact force, especially when compared to metal valve bodies. Plastic body and plastic push rod have better durability. It should also include life-related factors including the application of the liquid, the time the valve needs to be continuously energized, certain extreme use cases, or the application differences caused by various types of influencing factors. Some manufacturers will test the life of 500,000 times, but some manufacturers have achieved tens of millions of life.
