Stainless steel electromagnetic valve seal surface damage
The factors that cause damage to the sealing surface of the stainless steel electromagnetic valve are not suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure, corrosion-resistant, and wear-resistant industries, as compared with the traditional industries. The damage of all kinds of things is divided into two categories, man-made and natural damage, stainless steel valves are no exception, natural damage, is the wear of the valve under normal working conditions. It is the damage to the sealing surface caused by the inevitable corrosion and erosion of the medium. Mainly divided into the following points: 1. Incorrect installation and poor maintenance results in abnormal sealing surfaces, and the valves run sick, resulting in forced friction on the sealing surfaces. The main reason is that the valve was not selected according to the working conditions, and the cut-off valve was used as a throttle valve, which resulted in excessive closing pressure and over-closed or closed seals, which resulted in erosion and wear of the sealing surface. 2. Damage caused by improper selection and handling. The valve is mainly not used according to working conditions. If the cut-off valve is used as a throttle valve, the closed pressure is too large and the seal is closed too fast or closed, causing the seal surface to be eroded and worn. Or use cast steel valves on corrosive media, or use non-temperature resistant valves at high temperatures. Or the general sealing surface material is used in places with relatively high impurities and high temperature. 3. The erosion of the medium is the result of wear, flushing and cavitation of the sealing surface when the medium is active. At a certain speed of medium, the floating fine particles in the medium collide with the sealing surface to cause local damage, and the high-speed moving medium directly flushes the sealing surface to cause local damage. When the medium is mixed and locally vaporized, the gas production is discharged Impact the surface of the sealing surface, causing partial damage. The erosion of the medium, combined with the alternating effect of chemical attack, strongly erodes the sealing surface. 4. Electrochemical erosion, sealing surfaces contact each other, contact between the sealing surface and the closing body and the valve body, and the concentration of the medium, oxygen concentration difference, etc., will generate a potential difference, electrochemical erosion, resulting in the anode side of the sealing surface is erosion.
