Parker Parker PV Series Axial Piston Pumps
The following small series for everyone to briefly explain the Parker Parker PV series axial piston
pump instructions and precautions:
Hydraulic working fluid
High quality mineral oil based hydraulic fluids such as HLP fluids in accordance with DIN 51524 Part 2 are recommended. For general use, the Brugger value is required to be greater than 30 N/mm2; for heavy duty hydraulic equipment and for fast cycle and/or heavy duty dynamic load hydraulic systems greater than 50 N/mm2, the Brugger value shall be determined in accordance with DIN 51347-2. .
Viscosity
For normal operation, the viscosity of the oil should range from 16 to 100 mm2/s (cst) and the maximum viscosity allowed at start-up is 800 mm2/s (cst).
Filtering requirements
In order to maximize the function and extend the service life of the hydraulic
pump and other hydraulic components in the system, effective filtration measures should be taken for the working fluid to protect the system from pollution. The cleanliness of the oil is in accordance with IS0 4406:1999. The specified IS0 solid particle pollution degree rating shall be assessed, and the
filter shall be used to
filter and purify the oil. The quality of the
filter element shall comply with the corresponding standards of IS0.
For general hydraulic systems, the level of oil contamination required to ensure satisfactory operation is not higher than 20/18/15 as specified in IS0 4406:1999.
If it is required to ensure the long service life of the hydraulic components, the degree of contamination of the oil is not higher than 18/16/13 as specified in IS0 4406:1999.
Seals
Check the technical conditions of the hydraulic fluid and check its chemical compatibility with the sealing material.
Check the applicable temperature range of the sealing material and compare it to the temperature range of the system's operation and environment.

note:
The maximum oil temperature will appear at the drain of the hydraulic
pump and can be 25 °C higher than the tank temperature.
