Introduction of Valve Products for Ten Major Industries in China

There are more than 2300 valves manufactured in our country. There are several kinds of valves, more than 3500 varieties and more than 40,000 specifications. Introduction of Valve Products for Ten Major Industries in China:
(1) Valves for urban construction: Low-pressure valves are generally used in urban construction systems, which are developing towards environmental protection and energy-saving. Environmental-friendly rubber plate valves, balance valves, mid-line butterfly valves and metal-sealed butterfly valves are gradually replacing low-pressure iron gate valves. Most of the valves used in domestic urban buildings are balance valves, soft sealing gate valves, butterfly valves, etc.
(2) Valves for urban heat supply: In urban heat substitution system, a large number of metal sealed butterfly valves are needed. Water balance valve and direct buried ball valve. Because this kind of valve solves the problem of hydraulic imbalance in the longitudinal and transverse direction of pipeline, and achieves the goal of energy saving and heat supply balance.
(3) Valves for environmental protection: In domestic environmental protection systems, butterfly valves, soft-sealed gate valves, ball valves and exhaust valves are mainly used in water supply systems (for eliminating air in pipelines); soft-sealed gate valves and butterfly valves are mainly used in sewage treatment systems.
(4) Valves for urban gas: Urban gas accounts for 22% of the whole natural market, and the amount of valves is large. The types of valves also need ball valves, cock valves, pressure relief valves and safety valves.
(5) Valves for long-distance pipelines: long-distance pipelines are mainly crude oil, finished products and natural pipelines. The most used valves for such pipelines are forged steel three-body full-diameter ball valves, sulfur-resistant flat gate valves, safety valves and check valves.
(6) Valves for petrochemical installations:
A. Refining equipment: Most of the valves used in refining equipment are pipeline valves, mainly gate valves, globe valves, check valves, safety valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, traps. Among them, gate valve demand accounts for about 80% of the total number of valves, (valves account for 3%~5% of the total investment in the device).
B. Chemical Fiber Device: Chemical fibre products mainly include polyester, acrylic and vinylon. The ball valves and jacket valves (jacket ball valves, jacket gate valves and jacket globe valves) of the valves are required.
C. Propylene clearing device: The device generally needs API standard production valves, mainly for gate valves, globe valves, check valves, ball valves, traps, needle valves, cock valves. Among them, gate valves account for about 75% of the total number of valves.
D. Ammonia plant: Because of the different methods of ammonia synthesis and purification, the process flow is different, and the technical performance of the valve is different. At present, domestic ammonia plants mainly need gate valves, globe valves, check valves, traps, butterfly valves, ball valves, diaphragm valves, control valves, needle valves, safety valves, high temperature and low temperature valves. Globe valves account for 53.4% of the total data, gate valves 25.1%, traps 7.7%, safety valves 2.4%, control valves and off-cryogenic valves 11.4%.
E. Ethylene plant: Ethylene plant is the leading device in petrochemical industry. It needs a wide variety of valves, such as gate valves, globe valves, check valves and lifting rod ball valves. Gate valves need to be in the first place. In the Tenth Five-Year Plan, six ethylene plants with an annual output of 660,000 tons are needed, and the demand for valves is considerable. In addition, large-scale ethylene and high-pressure polyethylene plants also need to use ultra-high temperature, lower temperature and ultra-high pressure valve series products.
F. Air Separation Device: "Air Separation" means air separation. The device mainly uses globe valve, safety valve, check valve, regulating valve, ball valve, etc.
Butterfly valve, cryogenic valve.
G, polypropylene plant: polypropylene is easily polymerized from propylene as raw material. The device mainly uses gate valve, globe valve, check valve, needle valve, ball valve and trap.
(7) Valves for power stations: The construction of power stations in China is developing towards large-scale, so safety valves with large caliber and high pressure, pressure relief valves, globe valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, emergency shutoff valves, flow control valves and globe sealing instrument globe valves are needed.
(8) Valves for metallurgy: In the metallurgical industry, wear-resistant slurry valves (in-flow globe valves), regulating traps and steel-making industries are mainly required to use metal sealed ball valves, butterfly valves and oxidation ball valves, globe valves and four-way reversing valves.
(9) Valves for offshore flat development: With the development of offshore oil field exploitation, the quantity of valves for offshore flat development is increasing gradually. Offshore platforms need shut-off ball valves, check valves and multi-way valves.
(10) Valves for food and medicine: Stainless steel ball valves, non-toxic plastic ball valves and butterfly valves are mainly needed in this industry.
With the entry of WTO, China's valve market is facing competition from foreign valve manufacturers. The amount of valves imported from abroad will increase considerably. Meanwhile, China's medium and low-grade valve products will have more room for export.
