Description of the sealing method and sealing mechanism of the seal

Commonly used self-sealing compression type hydraulic seals are mainly O-ring seals, circular seals and square seals, etc. They have the advantages of simple plan, easy production, low cost, etc., so they are hydraulic transmission systems. Dynamic sealing elements and static sealing elements widely used. They are typically 10 to 25% radially compressed and deformed in the seal groove and have a high initial contact stress on the seal surface and then impede the leakage of the non-pressure liquid.

When the hydraulic cylinder is in operation, the pressure liquid kneads the self-sealing type compression type hydraulic seal, so that it is further deformed to make a mechanical seal, and a large pressure with the pressure liquid is generated on the sealed surface, which is strictly speaking pressure. The increased and increased additional contact stress, together with the initial contact stress, impedes the leakage of the pressurized liquid. However, when the working pressure is greater than 10 MPa, in order to prevent a part of the synthetic rubber self-sealing type compression type hydraulic seal from being squeezed into the sealing vacancy and being cut off in the reciprocating motion of the hydraulic cylinder to constitute a leak, it is required to be self-sealing pressure in the synthetic rubber. A compression resin retaining ring is arranged on the pressure side of the tight hydraulic seal, such as a nylon retaining ring, a polyacetal retaining ring and a filled PTFE retaining ring.
