Six principles for selecting and buying solenoid valves
The type selection of the solenoid valve should first follow the four principles of safety, reliability, applicability and economy, followed by the selection of the six aspects of the field conditions (i.e., pipe para
meters, fluid para
meters, pressure para
meters, electrical para
meters, mode of action, special requirements).
Selection basis:
1. According to the para
meters of pipeline, solenoid valve is selected: dia
meter specification (DN) and interface mode.
1, determine the dia
meter (DN) size according to the size of the pipe inner dia
meter or the flow requirement.
2, interface mode, general >DN50 to choose flange interface, less than DN50 can be freely selected according to user needs.
Two. Selecting solenoid valves according to fluid para
meters: material and temperature groups.
1, corrosive fluids: corrosion resistant solenoid valves and all stainless steel should be chosen; edible super clean fluid: food grade stainless steel solenoid valves should be selected.
2. High temperature fluid: choose solenoid valves made of high temperature electrical materials and sealing materials, and choose piston type.
3, fluid state: large to gaseous, liquid or mixed state, especially when the dia
meter is greater than DN25, ordering must be distinguished.
4, fluid viscosity: usually below 50cSt can be arbitrary choice, if this value is exceeded, it is necessary to use high viscosity solenoid valve.
Three. Selecting the solenoid valve according to the pressure para
meter: principle and structure variety.
1. Nominal pressure: this para
meter is the same as that of other general valves, according to the nominal pressure of the pipeline.
2, work pressure: if the work pressure is low, the principle of direct motion or step direct movement must be selected; the minimum working pressure difference is directly operated, the step direct movement and the pilot can be selected when the pressure difference is above 0.04Mpa.
Four, electrical selection: voltage specifications should be as AC220V and DC24 as possible.
Five, according to the length of working hours to choose: normally closed, often open, or sustainable power.
1, when the solenoid valve needs to open for a long time, and the continuous time should be used, the closing time should be normally open.
2, if the opening time is short or the time of opening and closing is not enough, then the normally closed type is chosen.
3, but some of the working conditions for safety protection, such as furnace and kiln flame monitoring, can not be selected normally, and should be selected for long term electricity.
Six, according to the environmental requirements, select auxiliary functions: explosion protection, check, manual, waterproof fog, water flooding, diving;
1, explosive environment: we must select the corresponding electromagnetic valve with explosion-proof level (our company: dIIBT4, dIICT5, ExmI/IIT4).
2, when there is a reverse flow in the pipe, we can choose the OK71-N and OK72-N series solenoid valves with check function.
3, when you need to carry out on-site manual operation of the solenoid valve, you can choose our company's OK71-S and OK72-S series with manual function solenoid valves.
4. Submersible solenoid valves must be used for fountains (protection level is above IP68).
5, outdoor installation or dust occasions should choose waterproof and dust-proof varieties (protection level is above IP54).
