Metal rotor flowmeter remote transmission fault analysis introduction
When the metal float flowmeter is inspected and repaired on site, it is often seen that the flow indication is constant and fixed at a certain value. The quick judgment method is to change the position of the local remote control display portion to the upper and lower positions of the rotor portion to simulate the state of the float dynamic flow. At this time, the metal float is fixed. With the magnetic principle of the float, the follow-up magnetic steel in the display is coupled with the float. If the float is stuck, the pointer of the moving display portion can be changed normally to prove that the display portion is normal. If the pointer cannot be changed, look for the remote display and signal power failure. The cause of the failure is as follows: 1. The pointer is stuck (1) The metal float flowmeter glass panel is damaged and the squeeze pointer is stuck. The treatment method is: disassembling the display table and replacing the glass panel; (2) Vibration, when the other equipment is overhauled or the instrument is overhauled, the pointer of the instrument is loosely deformed, so that the deformation of the pointer does not reflect the actual flow value. The solution is to replace the installation adjustment with the same model display table. 2. Signal power failure (1) Screw loose line transmission failure; (2) Signal amplification conversion component damage failure; (3) The control station I/0 module is faulty; (4) The DCS control station wiring terminal is faulty. The troubleshooting method is: use the “segmentation method” to measure the voltage DC(1-5)V at the terminal of the control room control station, and analyze whether it is a field fault or a control room fault. The fault rate is the highest, the terminal screw is loose, and the fastening screw is faulty. Can be excluded. The fault cannot be ruled out. You can find the fault of the DCS measurement module by the terminal line number, find the fault indicator of the module, and see if there is any fault. You can also replace the same type of measurement module with the "replacement method" to see if it is normal. Pointer jitter (1) Pipelines and media generate slight fluctuations due to unstable operating pressure; (2) The metal float flow meter pointer will slightly fluctuate due to fluctuations in the pipeline and the medium. The above faults can be contacted with the control room to find the operation reason, adjust the process parameters to stabilize the pressure, temperature flow, increase the damping of the metal float flowmeter, and improve the process environment to stabilize the flowmeter.
