Introduction to the working principle and performance of electromagnetic flowmeter
In industrial production, there will always be a variety of liquid fluids. For the convenience and needs of production, it is necessary to know the flow rate of them. Knowing the flow rate, it is possible to adjust the amount of feed and control the production volume. The factory saves costs while also strengthening management capabilities and efficiency. Flowmeters are often used to measure flow rate. Flowmeters are divided into many types. There are orifice flowmeters and electromagnetic flowmeters. Their working principles are different, but the application range is relatively wide. Of course, with the development of technology, people are always trying to improve the flowmeter, but also apply to today's advanced and more popular technology.
The working principle of the electromagnetic flowmeter is Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. The basic expression is that a conductor cuts and cuts the magnetic induction line when it moves in a magnetic field. Then, due to this effect, an induced potential is generated in the conductor, and the size is the length of the conductor and the length of the conductor. And the speed of the conductor as it moves vertically in the magnetic field, the direction is determined by the right-hand rule, and there is a formula to determine the expression. Moreover, this formula is constant, and it is applicable to any such motion, so its working process is stable, and the measurement accuracy is relatively fixed. The electromagnetic flowmeter has a magnetic circuit system, a stainless steel electrode, a protective casing, a measuring conduit, an electrical insulating lining, and a potential converter. The role of the magnetic circuit system in the electromagnetic flowmeter is to generate a stable electromagnetic field. Previously used permanent magnets, but it is easy to cause the polarization of the electrodes will affect the normal operation of the instrument, so now the more advanced technology is to use 50HZ AC. The power frequency power source is used to excite the magnetic field; the role of the electrode is to direct the induced potential proportional to the measured liquid. In order to prevent some unnecessary deposits from accumulating on it, the pipeline is selected during installation. Above the vertical; the role of the outer casing is mainly to protect the working magnetic field from the external magnetic field, generally using ferromagnetic processing; the converter is to amplify the generated induced potential and convert it into a unified standard that can be used The signal also protects this tiny signal from external interference.
Using an electromagnetic flowmeter should be aware of some of its characteristics and features. The electromagnetic flowmeter is not affected by the measured properties of the fluid material such as density, viscosity, pressure, conductivity, etc., so it can be used in many fields; there is no pressure loss in the measurement, and there is no tube in the tube that can block the fluid flow. The bumps do not affect the measurement accuracy; the converters use the most advanced single-chip technology and surface mount technology, which can be manually clicked to see many fluid data characteristics, such as instantaneous flow, cumulative total flow, fluid The speed and percentage, etc., and the fluid parameters are also convenient to set, the power consumption is relatively low, and the measurement accuracy is very high. Its measurement range is between 20:1-50:1, and the middle can be adjusted arbitrarily. The range of the choice of caliber is also relatively large. It can measure both the positive and negative flow rates, and can also measure the flow rate of one share. . In use, the material in contact with the fluid can be arbitrarily selected, so that any corrosive liquid such as acidity or alkalinity can also be measured.
