How to install the plug-in electromagnetic flowmeter

The plug-in electromagnetic flowmeter is a meter used to measure conductive liquids, especially for large-diameter pipe measurements. Many people don't know much about the installation of the flowmeter. Let's talk about the installation method of the plug-in electromagnetic flowmeter.

1. It should be installed in the upstream section of the sensor installation not less than 5D (D: pipe diameter), and the downstream straight pipe section is not less than 2D.

2. When the sensor is inserted into the pipeline, it should be less than 5° from the vertical diameter of the pipeline section. It is suitable for measuring the cleaning medium with small vibration of the pipeline.

3. For the installation of the sensor, the welding slag and burrs of the base of the pipe to be tested should be cleaned first.

4. Then turn off the upstream flow control valve or use a low pressure water supply.

5. Install the DN50 ball valve on the mounting base. Note that the long cavity of the ball valve is up, check that the ball valve is fully open and fully closed, and that the compression threaded seat, compression nut and rubber seal are attached to the ball valve. Loosen the positioning nut.

6. Insert the sensor into the rod through the ball valve and insert it into the pipe to be tested. At the same time, it should be noted that the direction of the sensor direction indicator rod should be consistent with the fluid flow direction.
