Magnetic flowmeter enclosure protection level description and daily use protection
Electromagnetic flowmeter is a more common and more versatile instrument type in the field of flow measurement. It can cover most industries in industrial production, such as chemical, paper, food, textile, metallurgy, environmental protection, water supply and drainage, medicine. , tap water, steel, oil, electricity and many other industrial areas. Because of its unique characteristics, it can obtain accurate measurement results. Therefore, electromagnetic flowmeters have a market more than other flowmeters, occupying a large share of the flow measurement market, and now there are many on the market. Electromagnetic flowmeter manufacturers, how to choose a good instrument correctly, has important significance for the future stability of customers, not only you understand the market, careful identification is not difficult to distinguish. Here I will introduce the protection level of the electromagnetic flowmeter and the daily maintenance measures for each use. At present, the protection level of the electromagnetic flowmeter is generally divided into three types: 1. IP65 is a water-proof type that allows the water head to spray water from the meter in any direction. The water spray pressure is 30 kPa, the water output is 12.5 liters/min, and the spray water is 3 meters away from the meter. 2. IP67 is anti-immersion type. The instrument can be immersed in water in a short time. The characteristics of the test should be 150cm less under water and less than 30 minutes. 3. IP68 is a submersible type that can work underwater for a long time. The depth of its immersion is agreed between the manufacturer and the customer. The principle of selection of the protection level of the electromagnetic flowmeter should be selected according to the above requirements and the actual conditions of the instrument. If the flowmeter is below the ground and is often flooded, IP68 should be used; if the meter is on the ground, IP65 can be used. Electromagnetic flowmeters often need to work under flammable, explosive, corrosive, high temperature, low temperature, vibration, humidity and other conditions. To this end, the user must take certain measures to ensure that the instrument performs normal and reliable work. The common protective measures are as follows: 1. Explosion-proof measures. In the flammable and explosive places, it is necessary to use explosion-proof instruments and their accessories (such as electric type III instruments, oil-immersed switch, explosion-proof terminal blocks, etc.). 2. Anti-corrosion measures. When manufacturing the instrument, the parts in contact with the corrosive medium should be made of corrosion-resistant materials, and the isolation medium should be placed on the medium and the instrument connection pipe, and the neutral isolation liquid should be installed inside. In addition, the pressure guiding tube and the threading tube are also regularly brushed in a corrosive environment. 3. Anti-high temperature measures. Heat-dissipating components and components should be considered when manufacturing the instrument, and special insulation devices can be installed during installation to enhance ventilation. 4. Antifreeze measures. The outdoor instrument can be separately set up with a meter box, which is equipped with steam heating or heating with electric heating tube. Some components (such as thermocouple, thermal resistance and pressure taking device) and pressure guiding tube are also insulated or steamed. Heat Tracing. 5. Anti-vibration measures. Instruments mounted in an easy-to-vibrate position typically use rubber pads and springs to absorb vibration. For the impact of the measured medium, a buffer or damping valve can be installed between the pressure tapping point and the measuring instrument to overcome the influence of the high punching pressure on the meter. 6. Moisture prevention measures. Desiccant is often placed in the meter and instrument box for moisture protection. Commonly used desiccants are silica gel or calcium chloride.
