How to choose the installation location of the electromagnetic flowmeter

Installation location selection
In order to make the transmission path work reliable and stable, the electromagnetic flowmeter should pay attention to the following requirements when selecting the installation location:
1. Where there is no vibration or strong electromagnetic field (such as large motor and inverter);
2, as far as possible vertical installation, horizontal installation needs to be installed in a low place, can not install the pipe apex, to ensure full pipe, to prevent air bubbles;
3, straight pipe requirements, it is best to ensure 5 times the diameter of the first 10;
4. When welding, please pay attention not to connect the instrument to prevent damage to the flowmeter;
5, the shell should be grounded as far as possible, the shielded wire should be grounded at one end, and the point can not be shared with the strong electricity;
7. If the maintenance is simple, the installation location needs to be selected to meet the maintenance requirements. At the same time, the side pipe can be installed, and the fluid moves along the side pipe when the fault occurs;
8, to avoid direct sunlight, high temperature, will degauss;
9, other requirements should be considered, the signal wiring should not be with the strong electric line.
Installation requirements
For your correct measurement, the following points should be noted when selecting the location on the pipe:
(1) The sensor can be installed either on a straight pipe or on a horizontal or inclined pipe, but requires the center connection of the two electrodes to be horizontal.
(2) The medium should be full of pipe at the installation position to avoid adhering to the electrode than the full pipe and gas.
(3) For liquid-solid two-phase fluids, it is best to use vertical installation to make the sensor lining wear evenly and prolong the service life.
(4) When the flowmeter is installed at the position where the medium is not full, the method of raising the flow rate of the semi-rear pipeline can be adopted to make it full. It is strictly forbidden to install the flowmeter at the highest point of the pipeline and the outlet. (see photo)
(5) Modify the installation method of the pipeline: When the flow rate of the medium does not meet the requirements, a flowmeter with a smaller diameter should be used. In this case, a reducer cone or a modified pipe should be used to make it the same diameter as the sensor, but at least the straight pipe section Must meet: front straight pipe section ≥ 5DN, rear straight pipe ≥ 2DN (DN is pipe diameter)
(6) The straight pipe sections before and after are ≥5DN before the flowmeter, and the rear end is ≥2DN
