These measuring objects have low fluid pressure, low flow rate, low density, and large diameter. It is difficult to accurately measure, especially gas, which often has high water content and dust content, and some also contain tar. Some gas pipes have Inexhaustible water, these require the instrument to adapt, can not affect the measurement due to the precipitation of condensate, can not be caused by dust.
 
    The factory water flow measurement object also has its characteristics, and the measurement results are mostly used for process monitoring and control. The accuracy requirements are not high, but the stability and reliability requirements are high. Sometimes the caliber is large, and the constant velocity differential pressure flowmeter and the clamped ultrasonic flowmeter are often used.
   Flow measurement characteristics in the power industry
    It is mentioned that the power industry naturally associates with large boilers and high-temperature and high-pressure steam in thermal power plants. The large-diameter pipe network of thermal power plants is associated with supplying steam to various users. Therefore, the measurement of steam flow in the thermal power and thermoelectric industries is large. According to its use and characteristics, it can be roughly divided into flow measurement related to power generation and flow measurement in heating network.
    (1) Steam flow measurement related to power generation This type of flow measurement is characterized by high fluid temperature and high pressure. The steam temperature of a small unit with several megawatts should be above 420 °C. Although new flowmeters are often introduced, most principle flowmeters cannot withstand such harsh operating conditions. At present, the throttling differential pressure flowmeter steadily occupies this traditional territory.
    Since the flow rate of such measuring objects does not vary greatly, and often the full load is full, the weak point of the differential pressure flow meter has no practical impact.
    (2) Measurement of steam flow rate in heating network The flow meter used in the heating network of thermal power plant, because the temperature and pressure of the fluid are greatly reduced, the space that can be selected is greatly expanded, but due to the tradition of instrument selection in the power plant, most objects The throttling differential pressure flowmeter is still selected, and the vortex flowmeter is selected in part.
