Introduction to the installation instructions for the flange connection in the inlet valve

The Prevo Technology Department makes the following points for the installation of flange connections:
1. The verticality of the flange surface on the piping and the centerline of the piping and the error of the flange bolt hole should be within the allowable range. After the valve and piping centerline are consistent, install them.
2. When tightening the bolts, use a wrench that matches the nut. When using oil pressure and pneumatic tools, be careful not to exceed the specified torque.
3. When connecting the two flanges, firstly, the flange sealing surface and the gasket should be evenly pressed, thereby ensuring that the flanges are connected by the same bolt stress.
4, the flange should be tightened to avoid uneven force, should be tightened in the order of symmetry, cross-reference.
5. After the flange is installed, make sure that all bolts and nuts are tightly tightened.
6. Fasten the bolts and nuts. To prevent looseness caused by vibration, use a washer. In order to avoid the adhesion between the threads at high temperatures, the threaded parts should be coated with a release product.
7. For high temperature valves above 300 °C, after the temperature rises, the flange connection bolts, bonnet fastening bolts, pressure seals and packing gland bolts must be tightened again.
8. When the valve is used at low temperature, it is in the state of atmospheric temperature during installation. Due to the temperature difference, flanges, gaskets, bolts and nuts shrink, and the materials of these parts are different.
9. The respective linear expansion coefficients are also different, forming environmental conditions that are very easy to leak. From this objective situation, when tightening the bolt at atmospheric temperature, it is necessary to adopt a torque that takes into account the shrinkage factor of each component at low temperatures.
