As a typical level meter, the rotary level meter is widely used in enterprise production. Below we will give a comprehensive introduction to its principles, uses and features for everyone to learn.

According to its use, it is also called the rotary level gauge or the rotary-type level switch. The anti-rotation level switch is driven by the AC micro-motor to slow the rotation of the detection blade. When the level of the material to be tested rises to block the rotation of the blade, the spindle of the detecting mechanism generates a rotational displacement. This displacement first causes a microswitch to act to signal a material. Then another micro switch acts to cut off the power of the micromotor to stop rotating. This state will remain as long as the level in the bin remains the same.

When the material level is lowered to detect that the blade loses its blocking, the detecting mechanism relies on the spring pulling force to restore the original state. Control the micro-switching action of the micro-motor power supply to make the motor energize and rotate. Then another microswitch action signals that this state will remain as long as there is no material blocking the rotation of the blade.

Resistance level instrument use and characteristics

1. The material of the main exposed parts is made of stainless steel, aluminum alloy and advanced engineering plastics. It has the characteristics of rust resistance, pollution-free, moisture-proof and dust-proof. It can be used in harsh environments such as grain storage and industrial high dust.

2. In order to adapt to the different specific gravity of various materials and to facilitate installation and adjustment, a five-speed adjustment device with sensitivity and two alternative installation methods and a plurality of detection blade specifications are provided;

3. The heat sink is adopted, so it can be used in the material environment of ≤250 °C (currently some capacitors, tuning forks, ultrasonic level detectors can not adapt to this high temperature). With on-site level status indicator.

Rotary level meter use instructions

Scope of application: The rotary-type level gauge is mainly used for monitoring or controlling the level of powdery and granular materials in open containers and non-permeate (when side-loading). Not suitable for pressurized closed containers or materials with flammable volatile gases.

Sensitivity setting:

The sensitivity of the output of this level switch movement is divided into five gears. According to the needs of most users, the factory is adjusted to the gear with large action torque. Generally, no adjustment is needed during application. If the measured medium is lighter (such as plastic powder), the operating torque is small, you can adjust it according to your needs. The specific adjustment methods are as follows:

(1) Unscrew the upper cover and remove the two fixing screws between the detection mechanism and the base;

(2) Pull out the detection mechanism and turn it over to find the tension spring at the bottom;

(3) Remove the tension spring hook on the bottom plate side and hang it into the hole relatively close to the shaft;

(4) Put the movement back to the base, rotate the blade so that the sleeve is aligned with the output shaft, and press it gently;

(5) Tightening the fixing screws on both sides, and the power supply test is acceptable.

Selection of the resistance level gauge诀窍

Because different occasions and different media have different requirements for the correct measurement of the material level, in order to correctly use the resistance level gauge, the instrument world network points out that the following points should be noted when purchasing:

1. In order to meet the needs of some liquid or high-adhesive materials (such as asphalt, concrete, etc.), it can be installed with overhead vertical installation (measurement depth can reach more than 10 meters), users can choose to lengthen according to different measurement depths. Soft and hard shaft. When measuring depth > 1 meter, the extension of the flexible shaft should be used. Hard extension shafts are available for measurement depths ≤ 1 m.

Note: Due to the contact between the material and the root of the output shaft of the leveler during the overhead installation, there is very little failure during operation. Top vertical installation should be used wherever possible.

2. The side-loading can also be customized and lengthened (with stainless steel sheath and extension shaft). The actual insertion depth should be indicated when ordering. We will design and manufacture according to the actual needs of users.

3. Detect the blade specifications, which are generally matched with the proportion of sand and gravel materials. When the measured medium has a light specific gravity, a larger blade should be used. When testing very light media such as wood fiber, special blades must be used.
