SLI03-6-S SELI Conductivity Description
SLI03-6-S
SELI Conductivity Spot Features:
Measuring principle:
The alternating current generates a magnetic field in the main
coil (
transmitter) to generate an induced current in the surrounding medium. The current in the medium creates another magnetic field in the secondary
coil (receiver), the strength of which depends on the
conductivity of the medium. The
conductivity of a liquid medium is affected by the temperature of the liquid. To compensate for temperature errors, a
sensor (PT100) is also included in the
sensor probe to monitor the media temperature. The temperature error can be automatically compensated by setting the liquid temperature coefficient (TC value) in the electronic components of the SLI.
SELI conductivity meter application example:
CIP process control (phase separation of cleaning product/water)
Concentration measurement (base or acid concentration during processing)
Product quality monitoring
Process control of the brewing process
Fresh water control in beverage plants
Water/wastewater control
QC
Separator monitoring
