Note on the use of solenoid valves
In the field of modern industrial production and processing, solenoid valves are used more or less. If you do not understand the solenoid valve, it will inevitably cause unnecessary losses in the process of use. What are the important points to pay attention to when using solenoid valves?
1. Distinguish the type of power supply used by the solenoid valve:
The working power of the solenoid valve is divided into DC and AC. The DC solenoid valve is connected to the AC power supply, and its electromagnetic attraction is small, which makes it impossible to work. If the AC solenoid valve is connected to the DC power supply, the current will be too large, causing the
coil temperature to rise and the solenoid valve to burn out.
Tips:
The power supply of the solenoid valve should match the rated voltage on the nameplate. Because the power supply voltage is too high, the solenoid valve current will be too large and the temperature rise will be abnormal, and the electromagnetic suction force will cause the impact force to be too large, which will affect the reliability of the valve. If the power supply voltage is too low, the solenoid valve electromagnetic suction force drops too much, which will affect the valve opening capability, which is difficult to work reliably.
2. Selection of solenoid valve
The nature of the working fluid determines the type of solenoid valve, so the corresponding solenoid valve should be selected according to the characteristics of the medium, such as for water and solenoid valves for steam. The rated working pressure of the selected solenoid valve is too high, which will increase the investment; however, the selected rated working pressure is too low, or close to the actual medium pressure. In the work, the solenoid valve is not strong enough due to the strength of the material, which may cause an accident. In addition to safety issues, the choice of working pressure is also related to the ability of the solenoid valve to work properly. Working pressure generally uses the upper and lower limits of the highest and lowest to determine its reliable working range. Otherwise, the solenoid valve will not work reliably due to the influence of the medium pressure.
Tips: The media flow size is related to the dia
meter or seat size when the solenoid valve is selected. If the dia
meter of the selected solenoid valve is too large, it will cause economic waste and increase the installation cost. However, there are many problems in the selection of the caliber. If the flow rate in the pipeline should be limited, the pressure loss will be caused, and the control of the system will be controlled. The effect is reduced, so that the control accuracy of the system is reduced or out of control. The working pressure difference refers to the pressure difference between the inlet and the outlet of the valve that can be reliably opened and closed by the solenoid valve. It is the key to the normal operation of the solenoid valve. It is also the primary consideration when selecting the valve. The selection is made in conjunction with the selection of the solenoid valve.
