How to improve the corrosion of the solenoid valve coil

(1) Change the material of the solenoid valve coil to stainless steel. Stainless steel is very resistant to corrosion, and it is less prone to anodic corrosion even in the case of positive power. However, since the electrical conductivity of stainless steel is not as good as that of copper, when producing a solenoid valve coil plug, it is necessary to increase the contact area between the plug and the terminal to prevent heat generation due to excessive resistance. At present, there is no manufacturer to produce coils of stainless steel binding posts, so spare parts procurement is difficult, and special ordering is required, and the cost is relatively high.

(2) A layer of tin is plated on the existing electromagnetic coil terminal. Tin is more active than copper and has a low melting point. It is very easy to handle. Tin plating can be done with a common soldering iron. After tin plating on the terminal, in the galvanic cell reaction, tin acts as an anode and copper acts as a cathode to be protected. In this way, the life of the coil terminal can be greatly extended, the cost of spare parts can be saved, and the failure rate can be reduced.

Therefore, we can order a batch of solenoid valve coils of stainless steel binding posts, gradually replace the existing common electromagnetic coils, and on the other hand, tin-plating the existing spare parts, so that the adaptability of the coil is greatly improved. Even if the coil is wet, the life is long, which saves a lot of spare parts costs and improves the equipment integrity.
