SCANCON has more than 28 years of experience in the production of high quality industrial rotary encoders. The production line starts with the production of 2-channel Eex encoders for the petroleum/chemical industry and is mainly used in oil distribution units. Today, SCANCON's Eex encoder is one of the largest encoders in the market. Eex encoders are available in a variety of models, including compact heavy duty solid shaft or hollow shaft series encoders. The latest encoders are made entirely of stainless steel with IP 67 protection.

SCANCON introduced the first industrial high-precision encoder in 1984. Soon, incremental encoders filled the metal, wood, plastic and food machinery industries. It can also be used in automatic door systems, conveyor systems, cranes, lifts, etc.

In the last 6-8 years, SCANCON has taken the lead in small high precision encoder technology. Now, with the new ASIC technology, encoders with an outer diameter of only 16 mm, 5.000 pulses (20.000 counts) / rotation and encoders with an outer diameter of only 9 mm and 1000 pulses/rotation have been realized.

Today, SCANCON will be 100% dedicated to the field of encoders. The products are mainly exported to European and American markets, with offices and distributors in the region.
