In the oxygen piping system of the metallurgical industry, ball valves that have been strictly degreased are used. When the main line in the oil pipeline and the gas pipeline is to be buried underground, a full-bore welded ball valve is required. When it is necessary to adjust the performance, a ball valve with a special structure with a V-shaped opening is required. In petroleum, petrochemical, chemical, electric power, and urban construction, metal-to-metal sealed ball valves are available for piping systems with operating temperatures above 200 degrees. Before using the operation, make sure that the lines and valves have been flushed. The valve is operated according to the size of the actuator input signal to complete the rotation of the valve stem: when the forward rotation is 1/4 turn (90 °), the valve is closed. The valve opens when rotated 1/4 turn (90°) in the opposite direction. When the actuator direction indicator arrow is parallel to the pipeline, the valve is open; when the indicator arrow is perpendicular to the pipeline, the valve is closed.
