Description of the working principle of stainless steel ball valve

First, stainless steel ball valve introduction:
The stainless steel ball valve has the advantages of low friction coefficient, small operating torque, maximum leakage to zero leakage, and a variety of valve seat materials to choose from, and a wider range of adaptation. Its sealing form mainly includes soft seal ball valve and hard seal ball valve. The normal temperature type uses a PTFE seal, and the high temperature type can be a hard polystyrene or a metal hard seal. Stainless steel ball valve is mainly composed of: valve body, valve core, valve seat, valve stem and other parts. Stainless steel ball valves are widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, light industry, papermaking, power station, refrigeration and other work areas.

Second, analyze the stainless steel ball valve opening process:
1. In the closed position, the ball is pressed by the mechanical pressure of the valve stem and pressed against the valve seat.
2. When the hand wheel is turned counterclockwise, the valve stem moves in the opposite direction, and the bottom angular plane causes the ball to disengage from the valve seat.
3. The valve stem continues to lift and interacts with the guide pins in the spiral groove of the valve stem to cause the ball to rotate without friction.
4. Until the fully open position, the valve stem is raised to the limit position and the ball is rotated to the fully open position.

Third, analyze the stainless steel ball valve closing process:
1. When closing, turn the handle clockwise, the stem begins to lower and the ball moves away from the seat.
2. Continue to rotate the hand wheel. The valve stem is subjected to the guide pin embedded in the upper spiral groove, so that the valve stem and the ball rotate at 90° at the same time.
3. When it is about to close, the ball has been rotated 90° without contact with the valve seat.
4. In the last few turns of the handwheel, the angular plane at the bottom of the valve stem mechanically wedges against the ball, so that it is pressed tightly against the valve seat to achieve a complete seal.

Fourth, stainless steel ball valve features:
1. The handle is correct: the flat head stem is used, and the connection with the handle is not misplaced, thus ensuring that the switch state indicated by the handle is consistent with the valve.
2. Stem anti-flying structure: The valve stem is bottom-loaded to prevent pressure from flying out, and at the same time, it can form metal contact with the valve body after the fire to ensure the valve stem is sealed.
3. Locking device: In order to prevent the valve switch from being mishandled, there is a locking hole in the fully open and fully closed position of the valve to ensure that the valve is in the correct position.
4. Advanced valve seat: The valve seat designed with many years of experience in ball valve manufacturing ensures valve sealing, low friction coefficient, small operating torque, various valve seat materials, and wide adaptability.
