Rotating vortex flowmeter schematic diagram description
The flow
meter consists of a
sensor and a conversion display.
1. The
sensor includes a vortex generator, a detecting element, a rectifier, and a housing.
The vortex generator consists of a specific spiral blade that is fixed at the front end of the constricted section of the casing, forcing the fluid to produce a strong swirling flow.
The detecting element is mounted near the throat of the dilation tube, and the frequency signal of the vortex precession can be measured by a detecting element such as heat sensitive, piezoelectric, strain, capacitance or fiber.
The rectifier is fixed at the outlet of the flow
meter body, and its function is to eliminate the vortex flow to reduce the influence of the downstream flow state on the
meter measurement.
The housing is designed as a shaped flow path that allows the vortex to form, secure and protect the internally mounted components and is connected to the pipe by flanges.
2, conversion display
The weak voltage signal detected by the piezoelectric
sensor is amplified,
filtered, and shaped to become a pulse signal whose frequency is proportional to the flow rate, and then displayed by the display. The display is equipped with an external transmission interface to output various signals. The measured gaseous medium can be compensated for temperature and pressure, converted to volumetric flow under standard conditions, and displayed.
