NORGREN cylinder - installation knowledge of cylindrical cylinder

Installation knowledge:
1. Before installation, it should be carefully checked. Hydraulic tests should be carried out. The cleaning and inspection of the cylinder block and the middle body connection port surface, the cylinder valve chamber and the valve seat contact surface, etc., should be free of mechanical damage and other defects. There are defects such as cracks, looseness, and porosity; the cylindricity of the working surface of each cylinder is detected by the inner diameter micrometer, and the deviation shall not be lower than the 8-level tolerance value of the national standard.
2. Installation requirements for horizontal compressor cylinders
When the cylinder is connected to the middle body, the connecting bolts should be tightened symmetrically and evenly. The cylinder bearing must meet the following requirements when using the drawn steel wire method to find the coaxiality between the cylinder axis and the center slide axis. The deviation of the coaxiality between the cylinder axis and the center slide axis should meet the requirements in Table 3-24. If it exceeds the regulations, the cylinder should be horizontally or radially displaced, or the joints should be scraped and adjusted. It should not be adjusted by adding a bias pad or applying an external force. After the treatment, the contact area should reach 60% or more. Adjust the cylinder level, the deviation shall not be greater than O. 05mm/m, and the direction of inclination should be consistent with the middle body (high-direction cylinder head end), but it must meet the requirements in Table 3-24. Check the deviation of the coaxiality between the axis of the packing seat and the cylinder axis, and also meet the above requirements.
3. Vertical compressor cylinder installation
1 When the British NORGREN cylinder and the fuselage, cylinder and cylinder or cylinder are connected with the middle body, the bolts should be tightened symmetrically and evenly. The bearing surface should be in good contact and the force should be uniform.
2 cylinder level measurement can be carried out on the cylinder head and cylinder upper contact surface; when the cylinder working surface diameter is greater than 150 ram, it can also be measured on the cylinder mirror surface. The horizontal deviation shall not be greater than O. 05mm/m.

4 The coaxiality of the NORGREN cylinder and the fuselage, cylinder and cylinder or cylinder and the center axis of the British Norgren shall comply with the provisions in Table 3-24. The contact surface of the contact surface should be more than 60%.
5 When using the laser collimator to find the coaxiality between the cylinder axis of each stage and the axis of the middle body slide, the center of the photoelectric receiving target placed in the mirror surface of the cylinder should coincide with the axis of the cylinder. The deviation of the center line of the photoelectric receiving target from the axis of the laser beam shall not be lower than the 9-level tolerance value specified by the national standard. The cylinder bearing surface is in good contact and the force should be uniform.


NORGREN cylinder cylinders can generally be selected according to the following procedures:
1. Select the cylinder diameter according to the required maximum driving force. If the required maximum driving force is F(N), the air pressure is p (MPa).
Then, if the cylinder diameter D ≥ (mm) is considered in the load factor η, the maximum driving force F is divided by η and then substituted into the formula to calculate the cylinder bore D. Finally, round to the standard cylinder diameter according to the principle of greater than or equal to.
2. Determine the maximum stroke of the cylinder stroke according to the required maximum displacement. The standard strokes for all types of cylinders are marked in the product catalog. Taking the cylinder of SMC as an example, the standard stroke series is: 5; 10; 15; 20; 25; 30; 35; 40; 45; 50; 60; 75; 100; 125; 150; 175; 200; 350;400
3. Determine the type of linear cylinder according to the use situation
There are many types of NORGREN cylindrical cylinders, and the company commonly uses the following:
3.1 CJ1 series miniature cylinder
The cylinders of this type are only 2.5mm and 4mm, and the strokes are only 5, 10, 15, and 20. In all cylinders, the bore and volume are minimal. Therefore, it is suitable for occasions where the space is small and the required thrust is small.
3.2 CJP series needle cylinder
The cylinders are only available in six, 10 and 15 cylinders. The strokes are only five, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30. The bores and volumes are also small, but they can be equipped with magnetic switches. It is suitable for occasions where the required thrust is small and the space is small and small.
3.3 CJ2 and CM2 series standard cylinders
CJ2 series standard cylinders have cylinder bores of 6, 10 and 16; CM2 series standard cylinder bores
These two standard cylinders have the most specifications and types, and their installation type, built-in magnetic ring, rod end form, single and double action, buffering, etc. can be selected as needed.
3.4 CQ2 and CQS series thin cylinders
The cylindrical cylinder has a square shape and is the shortest and thinnest among the cylinders of the same bore and stroke.
Cylindrical cylinders have various cylinder bores of 12 or more and are available in various strokes. Similarly, its mounting type, built-in magnetic ring, rod end form, single and double action, buffering, etc. can be selected as needed.
3.5 CU and CUJ series freely mounted cylinders
The shape of the cylindrical cylinder is also square. Its biggest feature is that it is extremely convenient to install and can be installed on all four sides. The cylinder bores are 4, 6, 8, 10, 16, 20, 25 and 32; various standard strokes of 60 or less are available. Similarly, the built-in magnetic ring, rod end form, single and double action, buffering, etc. can be selected as needed.
Each of the above five types of cylinders has its own characteristics and can be selected according to the application and structure.


4. Determine the cylinder model according to other requirements
After determining the bore and stroke and selecting the type of cylinder, the following options are required to determine the cylinder model:
4.1 Select the installation form of the cylinder
Cylindrical cylinders are available in basic, flange, foot, earring and trunnion styles, depending on the structure and space.
4.2 Select the buffer form of the cylinder
Cylindrical cylinders are available in cushioned versions of rubber, air cushioning and unbuffered, depending on the smoothness of the motion.
4.3 Selection of cylinder built-in magnetic ring
